ACCOMODATION

Bedroom number one Ardtreck Cottage offers bed and breakfast accommodation in two double and one twin bedroom; the two double bedrooms have en-suite facilities and the twin bedroom has its own private bathroom, with bath and shower. There is satellite TV&Radio with DVD player, and tea and coffee making facilities, in each room.

Bedroom 1 is situated on the ground floor. It is a large spacious room with an en-suite toilet and shower, and a large walk-in wardrobe. The room has views over Fiskavaig Bay to South Uist.

Bedroom number two

Bedroom 2, on the first floor, is a slightly smaller room with similar en-suite facilities to bedroom 1 and a small fitted wardrobe, The room also has a view over Fiskavaig Bay to South Uist.

Bedroom number three Bedroom 3 also on the first floor is a twin bedroom with two single divan beds and a large fitted wardrobe. Room 3 has the sole use of a large private bathroom, also on the first floor, with a large bath and separate shower.

The rooms are serviced and cleaned every day.

Meals are provided in the guests’ dining room and as this is a home, rather than a hotel, we invite guests to eat at one table.

Our own experience of staying in B&Bs over the years is that part of the fun of a B&B holiday is meeting people from different walks of life and parts of the world and having the opportunity to share holiday experiences about the area you are visiting with other guests, over breakfast or an evening meal.

There is ample parking space for guests’ cars and for those on a cycling holiday we can provide secure, dry, shed storage for bikes.

Bedroom mirror

Staying at Ardtreck Cottage is not really suitable if you do not have your own transport as public transport services are very limited.

We do not provide shared family room accommodation and we cannot therefore accept bookings for children under the age of 14 years. As children over 14 years of age will occupy separate rooms they are charged at the same rate as adults (see tariff and terms).
